We are excited to let you know that the Med-Calc SNF cost report software received the updated CMS approval for Transmittal 7.

• The T7 is the version that should be used for all cost reports BEGINNING 10/1/2015 and later.
• All references to ICF/ MR were changed to ICF / IID.
• The O series now replaces the K series for SNFs that file with a Hospice sub-provider
• The Med-Calc software has been enhanced to offer sub-provider worksheets for Hospice, RHC and CMHC, in addition to the existing HHA.  Sub-provider series are as follows:

o   H series – for Home Health Agencies

o   I series – for Rural Health Clinics

o   J series – for CMHC

o   O series – for Hospices

• A-8-1 part II text fields were expanded to allow up to 36 characters.
• Various edits were added to enhance accuracy for CMS purposes.

For cost reports beginning earlier than 10/1/15, continue to use the T6 version.

The T7 will be available upon request.  The version on the website is still the T6 version.
