Do you have a cost report which is due soon? While there had been blanket cost report extensions granted by CMS due to the COVID-19 PHE, this will not be the case going forward.

The due dates will remain as they always were, per regulations.

However, do not despair! If your facility requires an extension due to the COVID-19 PHE, you may reach out to your MAC to request one. As always, MACs have the authority to grant extensions due to extenuating circumstances. In light of the COVID-19 PHE, your request for an extension may well be approved.
